I can find little about this unit.
It arrived in a box labelled only "Laser Diode Packed". There is a sticker on the unit that reads "837nm" and "lop 550 ma". There's another, smaller sticker that reads "SPECIAL BL 122".
The pinout is as shown in the picture below. I find no other information on this unit.
