This unit has a tag on it that would lead a person to conclude this is in need of repair or maintainence. The unit itself physically looks fresh-not dirty or worn, looks closer to new than used, but I'm assuming it needs work, a person would probably want to do that before they trusted to lift at any rate, I would think.
