Buck boost transformer adjustable voltage - tanning bed
Adjustable transformer from a tanning bed installation. Transformer is made by Universal Transformer. Rated at 20 amps at 220 volts. Transformer has two settings, cut and boost. Also has adjustable voltage settings marked A thru F. I tested it on 120 volts. With an input of 120 volts, output on cut was A - 114, B - 112, C - 110, D - 108, E - 107, F - 105. Readings on boost were A - 128, B - 130, C - 132, D - 134, E - 137, F - 139.
This is a heavy transformer, weighs 16 pounds. Case is 9 x 6 x 5 inches. Plugs are male and female NEMA 6-20.
