This is a vintage Insulation tester with voltmeter made by KYORITSU, model KEWMEG-500. Made in Japan.
Has 6 buttons on the front marked
OFF/600v/300v/150v/BATT CHECK/M
Has wrist strap. Operates on 4xAA batteries.
A personal note or reminder that the original owner left for themselves TURN OFF AFTER USING OR BATT. WILL RUN DOWN. This note has been left on as we feel it is pertinent for the new owner as a reminder for them.
Analog tester. Untested - we are not electricians and are not trained to operate or test this equipment and do not want to make a claim that we have tested something when we have not tested it correctly. Battery contacts are spotlessly clean - no corrosion on the contacts - this appears to have been a well maintained piece of equipment from the estate of an engineer.
