For sale are three 70 centimeter (27 inch) pieces of titanium tubing with 6 millimeter (0.24 inch or about 1/4 inch) outer diameter and 0.4 millimeter (0.016 inch, 1/64th of an inch) wall thickness. The exact length varies between 70 and 72 centimeters. This is Russian aerospace surplus titanium, fairly soft and can be bent or machined pretty much like low carbon steel. Probably used for fuel or gas lines. X-ray fluorescence analysis indicates 99+% Titanium content, the only other detectable component is Aluminum (0.5-1.0%). I use these for my own aeronautical needs, namely, making kites.
The weight of this material is about 38 grams per meter (12 grams per foot).
