connecting links for heavy chain, says on pieces:
3 4 (not 3/4 as 3/8 on smaller unit)
I was told by a logger (friend) that these cost about $22 ea, but he was unsure of the actual strength/rating. Used frequently on larger logging chains and cables to repair chains or add hooks to either. He claims to have seen chain and cable break, but never saw one of these fail in the woods. If anyone knows or says different, I'd appreciate an email correcting this.
opening is actually 3/4 on small end, increasing to about 1 1/4 at largest width. Opening for Length is 3".
