There has been a request for added information on this item. Markings on a tag on the cable of this item has "TK918-8E4, 500-C, S/N 5788833, 03/04/05". The inside diameter measures 12+mm, or very close to it. The cable has 8 wires fitted into a pin plug, female molex like, for dual row male header pins for a board connection. The cable is about 18+" long. I want to say that the encoder type is incremental, but I cannot be certain. There is no visible sign of this unit ever having been mounted or put into service (there are no marks on the mounting tabs, or anywhere else).
NOTE: I do not have the onsite capability to perform any in depth operational checks on this unit.
