This is not a cheap foreign-made product. It was designed, manufactured, and custom-built in the USA. This module is intended for professional use only. It can be used in laboratories, clubs, academics, observatories, and special effects for film or photography (see below for one of my examples.) The beam CAN be seen in a dark room, it is quite stunning.

Note: The photo is NOT digitally enhanced. The camera is very sensitive to the 405nm wavelength. Only incense was used to bring out the beam.

This is an example photo I took of a uranium glass sealed vacuum tube with the laser dot as a backlight.
You can see the laser makes the seals fluoresce green for a very cool effect.
This is just one example of the many amazing things you can do with this laser.
