This item was purchased new in 1995 directly from Smithy. We used it in our business to make prototype parts. The 1.5 hp original motor has been replaced with a more industrial 2hp 220volt motor. The lathe is in great working order and comes with all accessories shown, including a 3 and 4 jaw chuck. The stand has a small area that has been dented, but can be straightened.Our business model has changed and no longer need this machine. The lathe has not been used in several years, but has been tested and all is good to go!
