The PSE-508 is a single channel repeater controller designed to plug directly into the GE Mastr II control shelf.
* Easy installation and setup: "Plug and Play" repeater control for the GE Mastr II.
* Built-In CTCSS Tone Decoder.
* Built-In CTCSS Tone Encoder with two modes: Encode on RUS (COR) only, or Encode on PTT.
* CTCSS Encoder has user-selectable Reverse-Burst mode.
* Voice and CW Repeater Identification.
* Voice Announcement Mode (ID via CW): Record voice announcements and play back manually via DTMF button and/or periodically via timer.
* Precision computer-aided-designed filters and audio amps, with just the right de-emphasis profile, provide exceptionally crisp and clear audio.
* All critical components are qualified for the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F).
* ID Whisper Mode: If user keys repeater during CW ID, the ID automatically drops volume by 50%. If user keys repeater during voice ID, the ID changes temporarily to CW at 50% volume.

No additional software is necessary for setup. Setup is performed using an RS-232 compatible terminal or emulator running on your PC (such as Hyperterminal). All PCs running any operating system such as Windows, Mac, or Linux, already contain the necessary terminal emulation program. An RS-232 cable is required for setup (not included).
