This book is a American Machinist's Handbook by Colvin and Stanley. It is a 1945 8th Edition, Revised and Enlarged. The book is 4 1/2" wide, 7" long and about 2 1/4" deep. It was published by the McGraw-Hill Book Company Inc. The book is in good condition except that it is bent because of the way it was in a box. There is a little wear on the corners. There are a few pages that are bunny eared in the middle of the book, but there seems to be no writting (that I have found) or rips in the pages. This book belonged to my grandfather who got a degree in Tool and Die in 1944 and then worked for Pratt and Whitney until he retired. I thought someone else could get some use out of this book.
