Smart-Cam CMM is a low-cost, machine vision, computerized measurement solution that works with a wide array of imaging devices and files. Smart-Cam CMM can make measurements with greater accuracy and in less time than conventional methods of measurement. In addition, Smart-Cam CMM can make measurements of objects that would be impractical or impossible to measure using conventional methods, such as large or distant objects.
Smart-Cam CMM converts any video camera, digital camera, web-cam, or other video capture device into a powerful Windows-based “smart camera†capable of making measurements.
The software acquires or loads an image, and does nothing more. You are then free to interact with the image using the mouse to place measurement points. Dimensional and angular measurements are possible. (This ability to interact with the image is available under all functions.)
The software acquires or loads an image, finds the edges of interest, and measures the distance between them.
The software acquires or loads an image, finds the holes (or other shape) and measures the spacing in between the centers.
