Parker’s portable KarryKrimp unit is capable of crimping Parker one-wire and two-wire hydraulic hoses up to 1 1/4†and weighs only 55 lbs! The KarryKrimp can also be bench-mounted. An Enerpac hand pump and high-pressure connector hose with quick coupler are included, as are crimp dies for crimping Parker’s one-wire and two-wire hoses in 1/4â€, 3/8â€,1/2â€, 3/4â€, and 1†sizes. Parker’s “Parkrimp†system makes building your own hose assemblies easy, with hose and fittings available in virtually every popular size and configuration. Also included are 50 foot lengths of Parker’s 301 series two-wire hydraulic hose, in 1/4â€, 3/8â€, 1/2†and 3/4†sizes, and Parker 43 series crimp fittings for one- and two-wire Parker hose, in male pipe thread and female JIC configurations.
The Karry Krimp is a portable and easy to operate tool for crimping hydraulic hose and fittings in the field. But what really sets it apart is its failsafe operation, which is fully supported by Hopespare who will accept product liability for hydraulic hose assemblies made in the field.
The hose fittings are in one piece so there is no need to align the ferrule and insert and no skiving or removal of the outside hose cover nor is it necessary to adjust the crimp diameter so there is no chance of incorrect swage diameters.
