Earmark's 4C Headset Radio is a two-way, portable radio built into noise reducing earmuffs. If you work in a high noise environment or need to be hands-free around machinery, Earmark's 4C radio Headset makes you truly productive. This Headset Radio provides the best combination of performance, durability, and comfort available while giving you a substantial Noise Reduction Ratio (NRR) of 23, allowing you to communicate around high noise equipment like turbines, pumps, jet engines, and corrugators, everyday
Comfort means a lot. We try hard to make you as comfortable as possible when you use Earmark radios. The Series 4C Headset features a Vertical Support Strap to distribute the weight evenly across the top of your head and a back strap to keep the Headset from falling off when you bend forward. The glass-filled Delrin headband pivots easily, changing the pressure points on the soft, hypo-allergenic earmuffs. By moving the headband you can vary the load over the course of a day. Earmuff covers help avoid perspiration problems and provide sanitary protection. Optional hard-hat mounts can be provided for areas that require use of hard hats. Hard-hat and mounts are available at no extra charge in lieu of the standard headband and case.
Earmark's Multi-Man Base Station puts up to nine people into continuous, Duplex communication. Equipped with an Earmark portable radio, each worker moves about freely, performing their assigned tasks as a fully functioning team. Anyone can speak, whenever they need to, because each person has a private transmit frequency. The Multi-Man Base Station repeats all messages out to all team members.
If your application involves personnel in critical situations, precision rigging or high speed process operations, an Earmark Full Duplex network with a Multi-Man Base Station assures you've done all you can to maximize safety and productivity. Controls are focused on the front panel for easy rack mounting and simplified operations. Individual station controls permit selective use of up to eight receivers.
The built-in speaker and Desk Microphone make the Base Station Operator an integral part of the team. Range Alert LED's for each station lets the Base Station Operator know if someone has gone out of range or turned their radio off. The Override Switch allows the Base Station Operator to momentarily break the network repeat function for emergency messages. Accessory headphones allow the Base Station to function in high noise as well as quiet control rooms.
