3-Axis Table Top CNC Router Aluminum with Spindle Mount!
* Machine travels are 12" x 11" x 4.5".
* Overall dimensions: Base measures 6.31" Tall to X axis top plate, 12" wide x 24" long w/o motor, Side supports are 3/8" thick x 6" wide x 18" tall, Y Axis is 2.81" tall x 8" wide x 18" long w/o motor, Z axis is 2.81" tall x 5" wide x 10" long w/o motor.
* The linear shafts are 5/8" diameter for Z and 3/4" diameter for Y & X. They are made of cleaned and hand polsihed 1018 steel shaft.
* The linears bearings are bronze and sintered cast iron mounting in a steel housing. Both bearings are oil impregnated.
* The lead screws are 1/2-10 acme for good speed and torque applications with a steel and nylon drive nut.
* The machine comes with built in Nema-23 motor mounts and lead screw thrust bearings in the drive end plates. This allows for easy and accurate motor to lead screw alignment.
* All major body components are made of 1/2" thick 6061-T6 aluminum.
* This unit is a perfect starter machine if you are new to CNC programming and operation. It is also great if you need to get up and running quickly and don't want to spend time building your own machine.
* When it comes time to cut I usually attach the workpiece to a separate spoilboard piece. This allows you to cut through your workpiece and not damage the machine table top.
