MODEL# TC8112B ALLEGIANT SERIES SWITCHER
Unit is an open box, appears that it might be Used but in good condition, Gauranteed to work perfectly.
The TC8112B Switchers incorporate a feature which permits the units to be remotely switched when configured in an Allegiant% Satellite system. The Switchers contain a serial RS-232 port which is used to receive data generated by the main Allegiant% system as decoded by the TC8780 Data Converter unit. The main Allegiant% switcher sends out data containing Satellite switch commands on its Bi-phase Control Code line. This Bi-phase Control Code line is also used to transmit the control data intended for the various receiver/driver equipped pan/tilt/zoom cameras. The TC8780 Data Converter unit receives this Bi-phase data, decodes the appropriate switching commands, then generates an output to the Satellite switcher using a simple 1200 baud, 2 wire asynchronous RS-232 format having no parity, 8 data bits, and 1 stop bit.
