The aluminum injection mold base pictured for sale is a precisely machined 10 x 10 B style. A&B plate material is 7075 aluminum , backplates and ejector plates are 2024, rails are 6061.Other dimensions (in inches) are as follows:
A&B plates L x W x H - 10.000 x 10.000 x 2.940
Ejection stroke – 1.5 (higher rails available)
Ejector plate thickness - .87 & .60 in x 7.00 wide
Locating Ring Dia. 4.000 (optional -backplate with or without locating ring hole)
4- 3/4 dia. pins -1 pin offset
Approx. weight – 105 lbs with pkg.
The ejector plates come without holes but are placed in the base for the picture.
Notice that no rest buttons are needed because the ejector plate has been machined with clearance under it.
All the plates are flat, square, and parallel within .001 and the thickness is parallel within .001 after assembly and the parting line ground.
