Heath zenith 3600 analog breadboarding system
Much of the Heathkit stuff was also released in pricey prebuilt student trainers offered by Zenith Educational Systems. We received a number of these as clean used community college surplus. The 3600 is an Analog trainer for learning the basics of operational amplifiers and timers and such.
The 3600 consists of a wireless prototyping breadboarding area, two variable regulated power supplies of +1 to +15 volts and -1 to -15 volts, a two range sine and square wave signal generator covering the audio range from 200 Hertz to 20 kiloHertz, reference 60 Hertz power line derived sinewaves of 15 and 30 volts, and a pair of 1K and 100K variable potntiometers. An expansion slot out the back can accomodate fancier but unprovided add-ons.
The plastic cases on these seem to be somehat phototropic, so some minor to moderate case shadings may be present. These do not in any manner affect usability or performance.
