12" machinist combination square set - lufkin
12" Machinist combination square set, all Lufkin components. Complete set with hardened square and centering head, and cast protractor head. Rule has 4R graduations, 8ths & 16ths on one side, and 32nds & 64ths on the other side of the rule. This set is a used refurbished set that has been cleaned up, remasked and spray painted with black epoxy enamel. (The set was originally an olive drab color.) The commonly missing scriber is present with this set, and the level vials are both functional on the squaring head & protractor head. The Lufkin Rule Company discontinued their precision machinist tool line years ago, but their precision tools are comparable quality to Starrett or Brown & Sharpe. Although this tool is not new, it is a tool in good shape ready for use.
