Offered here is a pair of wall mount fire alarm horns.
The first is a genuine Wheelock fire/burglar wall mount horn, part
number 138484. MIZ-24S-W. These low current devices are intended for 24 vdc
use but work over a 16 to 33 volt dc range. They are fully ADA compliant and are
jumper programmable to produce either a continuous tone or a standard
temporal beep sequence. Includes two cosmetic "bumps" to hide the provided
#6 flathead screw hardware. NACalert brand.
White units are low current, taking 12 to 24 milliamperes of current.
Easily install in single or multiple standard electrical outlet boxes. Presence
of DC voltage activates alarm. Typical end user cost is around $16 each.
The second unit is a System Sensor Mini-Alert Sounder PA4000 series
that is similar in size and shape. This one is rated 12 to 30 volts DC, so
it has automotive as well as home uses. Current is less than 15 ma and
the sound output is 90 DBA at 10 feet.
Guaranteed usable. Units received from an alarm company bankruptcy "as new"
and super clean in original packaging.
