Direct synthesis techniques allow the FNG10 to produce highly accurate and stable waveforms from 0.01 Hz to 10 MHz, over 9 decades of frequency. The generator is capable of producing waveforms with a frequency accuracy of 0.1% and a repeatability of greater than 0.01%. With a fast square wave transition time of 15 ns, the FNG10 is well suited as a precise time reference or clock for digital applications. Using the reference calibration mode, the FNG10 achieves short term stabilities of 5 ppm.
