* Correction made in item listing. It seems that this may be a 30 watt radio. In doing research to answer a question about this item, I've discovered that other radios with this model number are 30W radios. However, this item was sold to me by a local Midland dealer as a 40 watt unit (it was an area police officer's personal radio). I recommend you research this as I have no way to test it.
This has been a very reliable little radio with enough punch to carry my signal several miles. I've gone amateur radio, and have just upgraded the unit in my personal vehicle.
