All features operate automatically. The user simply presses the push button to activate the SMARTPHONE II. No further action is required, SMARTPHONE II is also fully automated on the receiving end of the call. The called party answers the phone, listens to the CALL TRACKER message, responds to the emergency and hangs up the phone. No complicated procedures or codes to remember. Simple and failsafe.
Eliminates concerns about telephone line conditions. Designed to work under the worst telephone line conditions, both switchboard and central office lines. Simply connect to existing 120VAC source in the car operating panel. Separate electrical feed not needed. Back-up power supply provides four hours of full operation if AC power source is lost.
CALL TRACKER LOCATION IDENTIFICATION MESSAGE
SMARTPHONE II detects called party's voice when they answer the phone. Voice detection triggers the CALL TRACKER location identification message to play automatically. Emergency service immediately knows the location of the emergency. Message plays twice and then there is two-way communication. Replay the message at any time by pressing ** on a Touch Tone phone. CALL TRACKER message is an 18 second recordable message designed to give all the information necessary to identify the location of an emergency and to facilitate rescue.
Program two emergency numbers. SMARTPHONE II dials primary emergency number, programmed in memory M1, when activated. If there is a busy signal or if the call is not answered in six rings SMARTPHONE II automatically calls the secondary emergency number, programmed in memory M2. Toggles between two numbers until call is answered.
Program emergency numbers, CALL TRACKER message, failsafe timer, telephone ID code and telephone security code using on-board programming keypad. Quick, easy. Complete programming at the job site. Keypad also allows you to replay all programmed information, verify selections and change as needed. Phone can be programmed anywhere. No need for phone line or power connection in order to program (must connect to phone line for operation).

Telephone security code prevents unauthorized changes. Telephone ID code allows you to change programming in an individual phone or in all phones at the same time. FULL ADA AND ELEVATOR CODE COMPLIANCE
SMARTPHONE II meets all of the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the ASME A.17 code for elevator emergency telephones. Phone is complete with all Braille and raised letter labeling required by ADA. The red LED on the front of the phone is lighted when the phone is activated and flashes when the emergency call is answered. Users know that the emergency call has been received and that help is on the way.
